Mike Bickle’s Prophetic Dream
- nathan
I think everyone should go read Mike Bickle’s dream on Rev 12. Go on, read it. I’ll wait.
This has hit me hard - if the leadership of a day and night continuous prayer movement is not ready for the coming trials, what about those of us just struggling to “get in the game” on a Wednesday evening? It is sobering to realize that I am not ready. I can look to my actions just today - my selfishness, my anger, my hardness of heart - and see clearly that there is quite a lot of soul and precious little spirit in my day-to-day walk.
The other thing that struck me from the dream is that Bickle says the church needs to be moving in power. I agree wholeheartedly. I am very frustrated at attending prayer meetings and seeing people walk away still suffering. Interestingly enough, I think that when I see a change in my life as described in the previous paragraph, then I’ll see a change in the prayer meetings I attend.
How glorious will it be to see the church rise up in power and authority? How glorious to see that happen today?

Yes, the dream was very sobering indeed and a great call to living our lives as if the Bible were completely true. Oh how my heart cries to see His power at work among us! Somehow none of our excuses for His absence really console me any more.

Thanks for posting this - I had forgotten about this prophetic dream; it is soo powerful.
It is such an excellent reminder of how petty we are and how the only hope any of us have is Christ.

I found item H on the outline very intriguing.
That part of the outline of the dream says, “There were evil policeman at the entrance. They told me, ‘You have to go back into the fairground or
we will put you in jail.’ They were callous about the danger I would face if I went back into the fairground. Then I understood that they were part
of the Antichrist’s system. I was in a dilemma.
I thought, ‘I just escaped from the most intense danger imaginable and now I have to go back in!’
There will be no natural way out of this crisis-the only way will be by the power of the Spirit.”
My question is, “Why would the fairground, where
40000 people are gathered to hear Mike Bickle speak, be guarded by that which is part of the
Antichristian system?”

MkCC - I kinda took it as moving to another part of the dream. The first part was that there was a gathering of 40,000 people of like mind, followers of Christ. This sets the stage for the “spirituality” of those in the arena.
Then when the serpents came, there were people who were in the world who were trying to make sure that the demons attacked them.
In a dream, it’s not always true that something mentioned later was actually there at the beginning. Of course, for us to know for certain we’d have to ask Mike.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone!

do you happen to have a separate copy of the dream? I tried clicking on the link and it was unavailable - the kind of unavailable that happens when it’s removed from the browsed directory.
I’d love to reread it, if possible.
Thanks

Jason - I’m not sure what happened… I changed the link to IHOP’s blog article: http://www.ihop.org/Articles/1000044713/International_House_of/Resources/News_and_Blog/Blog/Recent_Prophetic_Dream.aspx
I don’t have a separate copy - I’ll let you know if I scrounge something up.
