christmas letter

- nathan

Merry Christmas!

This is the 5th Annual Nathan’s Christmas Letter Sent Out Via Email Because Nathan Is Too Cheap To Buy Stamps email. It might be the 4th, it might be the 6th…not entirely sure. i don’t remember if i did it my freshman year of college, which if i did would make this the 7th. but then again, that’s assuming that i didn’t miss any years, which I believe i did. anyway. on to the email.

It’s now Christmas Morning! (as I write this sentence, the midnight hour has arrived). What a year this has been! God has been good to me this year, blessing me exceeding abundantly above that which I could ask or think. I now have a nephew named William Ronald who is happy (once fed), healthy, and 9 months old. He’s adorable.

I have been travelling a lot. My company has an office in Richmond, so I do a lot of commuting and staying in hotels. but it’s all good. In case you haven’t been paying attention (or this is your first installment of the Annual NCLSOVEBNITCTBS email) I’m no longer coaching swimming (though I still enjoy it immensely). I am a computer programmer with a computer consulting group based in Chesapeake, VA. work’s ok, but it’s not my reason for living. i spend a lot of time working with a youth worship team that’s really amazing - a group of about 10 - 15 teens that are just amazing musicians and really have a heart for worship. it’s pretty cool. I still play piano for Grace Fellowship Church in Hampton, VA, and that’s a lot of fun.

um…i guess that brings you up to date with what keeps me busy. i’m actually more interested in what’s going on with all of you. i really am not a fan of one-sided dialogue, at least not when it’s just me. i can hear myself all the time (in fact, it’s tough to get the voices to stop…). i prefer to hear what’s going on with you. with that said, i’d like to hear from each and every one of you, preferably not with a “Mailer-Daemon error: user does not exist” message. I don’t like those. So don’t send me those. ;)
Ok. I’m going to send this now. Merry Christmas! I hope to hear from you all.

Nathan DeWitt
